A Dream to Reality

 Shilpam has always harboured a profound passion for cooking, to the extent that her kitchen has been her inner sanctum, a space where she feels connected to her inner-self and finds serenity. In the wintry nights of early 2017, she spent her time doing research to uncover not just a new path, but a new dimensionality to incorporate into her life. While those around her sought comfort in the snug winter nights, she spent hours unearthing details about what would become her upcoming endeavours. When a few weeks had passed by, she realized that her heart was in the kitchen – among her delectable creations. During this period, the winds of destiny guided her to a new neighbourhood that she was beginning to call her own. Exploring the charming new streets and her inner self went hand in hand, leading her to the conclusion that "Her new kitchen would be the canvas for her aspirations". Thus, was born her third baby – her project “Desi Flavorz”. 

Here, in this new space, she would craft not just meals, but experiences. She would weave her culinary magic, just as she had for her family and friends, but now, it would resonate with a wider audience. She would honour the memories of her past and create new ones for those who walked through her doors. For in that moment, in that space, her journey from home cook to culinary entrepreneur had begun. With every dish she crafted, her intention wasn't solely to nourish bodies – she aimed to feed the souls of those gathered around her culinary creations. Evidently, her cooking went beyond flavours; it evoked emotions by triggering memories and binding hearts. Pouring devotion into every dish, whether it's the comforting daal, the savoury samosa, the tantalizing chaat, or the fragrant biryani, she transforms them into experiences that transcend the ordinary. Each creation unfolds as a gallery where aromatic spices and a choreography of flavors mingle, a mosaic of culinary tales that unite the threads of tradition and innovation with exquisite craftsmanship. From the fragrant grains of basmati rice to the handpicked medley of spices that dance in her curries, every constituent stems from the heart of India. Each bite offers a vicarious journey to the bustling bazaars and vibrant alleyways that once ignited their culinary creativity. Her menu presents an array of both classical and contemporary dishes to captivate a diverse range of palates, the menu beckons with offerings that promise to tantalize.
